Last Regular Meeting – Caldecott Tunnel Program: You missed a good one
Since Last Regular Meeting – Super turn out for the Fun Group Meeting at Tower Grill. Only those who wanted to have fun were in attendance.
Since Last Regular Meeting – And an excellent turn out for Halloween Breakfast at Del Amigo School.
Six Club Meeting at Roundhill CC was well attended. Jean Irwin is always entertaining while she tells a remarkable story about how her Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship in the 90s has changed the lives of countless children born deaf. Those who didn’t make it missed a first class presentation.
Board Meeting Action – The Board voted to support the Vets Hall renovation for a total of $35,000 – $15k this year, $10k each of the next two years.
Farewell to the Robys – David Roby has accepted a government position he can’t talk about. He and Tiffany are in the process of moving to Area 51, just kidding, actually, Fort Mead Maryland. Now we need to go find three or four new Rotarians to replace them. We miss them already.
One Warm Coat – San Ramon Valley Rotary’s 16th annual coat, sweater, and blanket collection ends December 14. Bob Gibbs is handling collections for our club. He requests that you please go through your closets to see if you have any coats or clothing of any kind that is in good condition that you can donate. Feel free to bring it to the next meeting, or any meeting prior to December 5 and Bob will make sure it gets to the right place.
