Credit Card Processing at Meetings – For those who want to pay bills by CC, Justin Clark now has a smart phone gadget to accept cards and deposit into the club’s EVENT account. He will report transactions to Barbara Jewell and Vic G.
Last weekend – PETS medics report TMI trauma but no exploded heads among the 480+/- Presidents Elect at San Jose. Survivor and Pres Elect Jim can tell us about his President Elect Training experience today.
Last Friday – Rotarians flippled burgers for high school students at the annual Youth to Youth Conference. Kathy Chiverton can tell us about it today.
Fireside Results – Worth repeating for those who missed last week. Attendees voted to go ahead with the golf tournament this year – one day event, stress free, income secondary to having a good time, proceeds to support our commitment to the Vets Hall.. Pres Bob can tell us about new fundraisers being discussed.
Board Actions – The Six Clubs are teaming to purchase AEDs (defibrillators) for the three SRVUSD schools that still need one. Our share is $1,100.
Club is considering a $1k donation to Adopt a Family Bikes – to provide helmets and locks to accompany the bikes.
March 13 – Food Bank Event – Edna reminds everyone about working at the Food Bank of Contra Costa County on Tuesday March 13 from 6 ro 8. She would like to have names this week if possible.
Saturday March 24 – Valley Teen Idol Final Competition – 1 to 4 pm – Restaurant food tables from 1 to 2 followed by the event, all proceeds benefit SRVUSD programs. Let’s reciprocate the great support by SRV Rotary to our Crab Feed. Get tickets through Vic G. Should be a fun afternoon.
