September is New Generations Month. It could be called “the month of our future” because investing in our youth is our future. Rotarians take pride in the fact that we have youth programs for just about every age group with Rotarians serving as active, caring sponsors. Source

Last Regular Meeting – Superintendant of Schools Steven Enoch gave the club an update on the impact of the CA budget crisis on the school system.

Service Above Self award for Steve Grote – Pres Bob acknowledged Steve for his work on the recently completed back pack project.

Next Week September 19 – Assemblymember Joan Buchanan will discuss issues facing the state of California.
